[R-SIG-Mac]R1.4 test version

Dear all,

I'm just uploading at

http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~iacus/R/

a test release of R 1.4.0. It would be nice to receive any sort of 
feedback before the end of this week in the hope that I can fix possible 
bugs before we (R-core) freeze the CVS repository. Both MacOSX and MacOS 
8.6 to 9.2 is welcome.

The file is called "R-devel_test.sit" direct access to is at:
