[R-pkg-devel] Installation took CPU time XXX times elapsed time

Thank you for your answers, Dirk and Ivan!

With your help I managed to reduce the compilation time on CRAN Debian pretest (from [89s/32s] to [48s/20s]) by modifying the Makevars of the rsofun package.
It appears that there is still some multi-core going on (see [1]) but probably since this is just < 2.5x it does not trigger the NOTE seen previously.
This is good enough for me.
