Hello,
What you are trying to do is not possible without editing the plot
method for objects of class "varirf". See its code with
getAnywhere("plot.varirf")
Argument axes = FALSE is set in the code followed by explicit calls to
axis(1, etc) and axis(2, etc).
Contact the
maintainer("vars")
