[R] open script from web

Hello

In R, is it possible to load a script file into the editor via a web
address?

That is, I have a script file I want people to grab located at
http://www.foo.com/bar.R
and want to do something like file.edit("http://www.foo.com/bar.R"). But
that doesn't seem to work.
