[R] Creating Dummy Var in R for regression?

Hello,

Your ifelse will never work because
reasons$salutation== "Mr" & reasons$salutation=="Father" is always FALSE
and so is reasons$salutation=="Mrs" & reasons$salutation=="Miss".
Try instead | (or), not & (and).
