[R] R License

This is not an appropriate forum to be obtaining legal advice in. That said, the licenses [1] for R do not discuss the size of your company. They do discuss your rights and responsibilities should you make changes to R. People who want to modify or incorporate R in their own software tend to have to pay close attention to those terms while those who merely use it as-is tend to have less to worry about. Also keep in mind that much value is found in contributed packages that may have a variety of licenses, so be aware of those licenses as you add packages to your workflow.
You will probably find it useful in reading these licenses to familiarize yourself with the definition of "Open Source. [2]
