[R] Compare each element of a list to a vector

try this:

> datalist<-list(c(1,2,3),c(2,3,4),c(3,4,5),c(4,5,6))

> result <- sapply(datalist, function(.vec){
+ all(.vec == x)

[1] TRUE FALSE FALSE FALSE
