Hello,

Just look at your second 'apply': the 'function(x)' is not using the 'x' (!)
Solution:

function(x) hist(x, breaks=0:nrow(test), plot=FALSE)$counts) 

Note that instead of 'nrow' you could also use 'length(x)'.
