What happens to the correlation when i dichotomize the variables? ( i need a
function for R)

What happens if the correlation is always larger or smaller? What happens to
the median? (also a function is needed)

What happens if the distribution is not normal?

I need point clouds!

and last but not least...

what happens if you change the scattering and the normal distribution
