To whom it may concern:
My OS: CentOS 5.5
R version: R-2.11.1
My questions are as follows:
First, I inputted commands:
-----------------------------
# ./configure --enable-R-shlib
# make
# make check
-----------------------------
Everything goes well until "make check".
screen log:

I've tried to understand what's going on:

# tail tests/Examples/base-Ex.Rout.fail

Error in memCompress(txt, "x") : internal error 5 in memCompress
Execution halted

It seems that the problem is related to xz software, but I've xz installed properly on my system and works fine to me.
I am also pretty interested in what "internal error 5" means??
Any idea of this error??
Thank you very much.
