Run the fourth example in help(boxplot) and then run this:

 > OrchardSprays$treatment <- factor(OrchardSprays$treatment, levels=  
LETTERS[1:9])
 > rb <- boxplot(decrease ~ treatment, data = OrchardSprays,  
col="bisque")
 > title("Comparing boxplot()s and non-robust mean +/- SD")
