[R] Building colorspace on RHEL5

Dear all,

I'm having problems installing the colorspace package on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5:

I'm running 2.6.1 because lab computers can only have official rpms
and uname -a gives:

Any ideas as to why the compile is failing?
