[R] lmer and scale parameter in glmm model

  One quick answer is that you can retrieve the scale parameter
by using the sigma function, which is not exported from the lme4
namespace (but probably? should be):

lme4:::sigma(obj)

 The other answer is that you might want to post this
on the r-sig-mixed list.
