[R] Replacing double-quote with backtick

Hi,

How can I change the back quoted strings below

> print(x)
[1] "foo"
[1] "bar"


into

[1]`foo`
[2]`bar`

Because later I want to access a named list
with this string:

mylist$`foo`
mylist$`bar`

I can't do it with:

mylist$"foo"
mylist$"bar"
