[R] Status of "data.table" package

This package was described in R News of May 2006.  However, I cannot 
find it on CRAN mirrors, and use of RSiteSearch is unsatisfying.  I am 
likewise unable to find an email address for the maintainer of the 
package.  Thank you in advance for assistance.
