[R] help with formatting legend in xyplot

If you set it through par.settings then it will affect both the
drawing and the legend:

xyplot(Sepal.Length ~ Petal.Length, iris, groups = Species, auto.key = TRUE,
   par.settings = list(superpose.symbol = list(pch = "*", cex = 1)))
