[R] Can anyone please tell me how to strip the white spaces from acharacter vector?

one way is to use strsplit(), i.e.,

xx <- c("AIR ", "ABCB ", "ABXA ", "ACMR ", "ADCT ", "ADEX ")
unlist(strsplit(xx, " "))
