[R] Fitting mixed proportional odds model in R?

However MIXOR and friends at http://tigger.uic.edu/~hedeker/mix.html
(standalone programs running on Windows systems ) can fit mixed PO, 
although I do know if you can fit only random intercepts or random 
coefficients as well.
