[R] Lattice .ps graphic is rotated in LaTeX slides

You might be encountering the infamous auto-rotation feature.  In Unix you can 
turn it off via something like

setenv GS_OPTIONS "-dAutoRotatePages=/None"

(or the bash equivalent).
