[R] Memory Allocation

R 1.5.0 is not released.  What is this?  Where did you get it from, or

Is that really the same version of R? That was a known problem in R 1.4.0,
solved in 1.4.1.

In general, don't increase --max-mem-size (it's --) unless you are
really sure you have enough usable RAM.
