The quantitative psychology program at the University of Notre Dame is
pleased to announce the inaugural conference and workshop in the annual
Notre Dame Series on Quantitative Methodology.  Eight leading scholars
in the analysis of change will give invited talks and participate in
roundtable discussions in areas pertinent to gerontology research. The
conference and workshop is designed for scholars in the areas of adult
development, aging, and gerontology who wish to extend or enhance their
expertise in advanced quantitative methods.

Attendance will be limited to 75.  Attendees will be encouraged to
consult with the invited speakers and faculty from the Notre Dame
quantitative psychology program.  The registration fee will be $100.
Meals are included in the conference fee, so that the speakers and
attendees will have additional opportunities to confer.  The conference
will be held on May 30, 31 and June 1 of 2002 in the Center for
Continuing Education on the campus of Notre Dame.  An edited volume
consisting of chapters contributed by the invited speakers will be
published by Lawrence Erlbaum Associates.

Cindy S. Bergeman (University of Notre Dame) Issues in Aging
Methodology.

Steven M. Boker (University of Notre Dame) Dynamical Systems Modeling.

Patrick J. Curran (University of North Carolina) Latent Trajectory
Modeling.

John J. McArdle (University of Virginia) Structural Equations Modeling.

Michael C. Neale (Virginia Commonwealth University) Behavioral Genetics
Models.

Steven W. Raudenbush (University of Michigan) Multilevel Modeling.

Christof Schuster & Michael J. Wenger (University of Notre Dame)
Survival Analysis.
