[R] the R package - relation to R project?

But, that's not the way free software should be presented. 

The logo may then be better like

 |- -|
   R  
 |- -|

But, then it looks like a Formula 1 car, a Ferrari, say.

 "R --- Statistical Software's Ferrari"

or

 "Take a ride, and you'll never forget it."
