Hey, lay off. Brian is a bit ascerbic BUT
1) you stated your ignorance (= unable to comprehend even what the referee
wanted)
2) B confirmed it was not your fault as the referee's knowledge was
obviously hazy (which you might consider a danger sign wrt advice offered)
3) he told you where to look for the information
4) he produced the goods you will use ...
