Running the example from documentation to emclust() works on:
NT4.0, R-1.0.1, mclust Version 1.0-1
Do you have installed the mclust package Version 1.0-1 ?
Try to start R with --vanilla option and then test again, maybe
something goes wrong with your workspace.
You should upgrade to R-1.0.1 (there is an important bugfix for the
windows version).
