I just saw in the Springer Statistics Newsletter I got yesterday that Venables
and Ripley have produced a new book called, _S Programming_ (isbn
0-387-98966-8). I haven't seen the actual book (I don't even know if it's
available yet) but the blurb says the book discusses effective programming in S
under either S-Plus and R. Looks good!
