[R] install problem -- libg2c

Hi, thanks for so many helpful suggestions I got so far.
I first tried to extract libg2c.a since it looks very easy to do. And indeed,
it was a breeze. Now, I have R up and running. It looks pretty and runs fast. I
may think of migrate my Splus works to R later.
