[R] Brace highlighting in R for the PC?

I don't know whether the approach I use is common or not, but I use
Nedit for editing (in which one can turn highlighting on or off) and run
the results in an R window.  Most of the time syntax highlighting  is an
annoyance, and I only turn it on to discover the inevitable dangling
parenthesis, bracket or brace.
