R-beta: package ported from S to R

Not really; I do have package with a "." which works..

You should send a real "log" of what you did (and the output)

search()

should show you (in your case)

[1] ".GlobalEnv"   "package:print.display"  "Autoloads"    "package:base"
		    ---------------------
and 
	ls(pos=2)

would show your objects
