Try www.stat.cmu.edu/R/.

But I have not managed to retrieve the documentation yet. I need to know
how R differs from S. When I open R I am asked to type "licence" on the
first promt, but when I do so, R replies: Error: couldn't find function
"licence"

???? 

Could    r-help  help me with this?
