R-beta: Plots with NT

Jeff (and other interested parties),

  Once the size of the window has been changed there is no easy way to
  redraw the current plot and have it look nice. So the behaviour is to
  force you to redraw on resize. 
  
  Currently I am using bitmaps for the on-screen drawing and could stretch
  them to fit but the result is pretty horrific. I could use metafiles 
  (enhanced ones on NT) and get a better result but it still would not
  be very good. Splus redraws on resize and in my opinion it isn't very
  nice in most cases.
  
  However if there is a strong desire for this behaviour it can be done.
