A binary RPM package of R 1.1.1 for Red Hat Linux 7.0 (Intel) is now
available on CRAN. Or directly from
ftp://ftp-fis.iarc.fr/pub/R/RedHat/7.x/
This package was built with gcc 2.95.2 and passes all the built-in tests.

If you are a Red Hat 6.2 user, I do not recommend upgrading to Red
Hat 7.0. I shall continue to support version 6.2 at least until version
7.1 comes out.

If you want to build R yourself on Red Hat 7.0 then please read
ftp://ftp-fis.iarc.fr/pub/R/RedHat/7.x/DIY/

My RPM packages are signed with GPG. For your own security, please
verify the signature on the RPM package before installing. You can get
a copy of my public key (ID 97D3544E) from any keyserver on pgp.net,
and the fingerprint is included at the end of this message.
