[BioC] problems connecting to Biomart today?

I seem to be unable to use biomaRt today (working fine Friday) but I  
don't see anything on the Biomart website wbout downtime, so I am not  
sure if the problem lies at my end. Any ideas?

ensembl=useDataset(dataset, mart=ensembl)

getBM(attributes="hgnc_curated_gene_name", filters="entrezgene",
